About Us
St. Michael is a growing community with a population of nearly 22,000 that is centrally located in the heart of Minnesota along I-94, about 30 minutes to downtown Minneapolis and 40 minutes to St. Cloud. The City provides a small-town feel with safe neighborhoods, good schools, abundant parks, lakes and natural resources.
St. Michael was incorporated as a city in 1890.
Town Center Park is a recreational destination. It comes alive with a splash pad, Family Night in the Park, and the Daze & Knights Festival in the summer; the Rotary's Cork and Keg Fundraiser in the fall; and the WinterFest celebration in the winter.
